lululemon Style Tuesday Top 5

lululemon Tuesday Top 5 (9/17/19)

A round-up of my top picks from this week's product drop

Tuesdays are the best day of the week in lemon world. All the ‘latest and greatest’ products drop in the lululemon “upload” – meaning all the new product for the week is added to the website.

And all the #lululemonaddicts out there are glued to their computers adding item after item to their shopping carts.

Each week, I sift through the upload and bring you my top picks in both women’s and men’s – as well as tips on sizing, education tidbits on fabrics + features and, hopefully, a laugh or two along the way.

So, here are my favorites from this week’s new product drop:

Women’s

Selfcare by Davines, Coola, Body Glide and Yuni: I’m putting these at the top of this week’s list because they were the biggest surprise. lululemon recently released their own “selfcare” line with deodorant, dry shampoo, lip balm, cooling body lotion and facial moisturizer (and two “on the go” kits – black pepper sandalwood and aloe lotus) – I knew that was happening. But now they’re carrying other brands’ self-care products too?! I didn’t see that coming!

All Tied Up Tank in Cut Back Stripe Tempest Blue White: A classic fav, this cotton tank can be worn loose or tied up for a fitted look. I saw this color in store today and it’s so pretty! ($44)

Show Me Your Depth Long Sleeve in Black: This cropped long sleeve is reversible – meaning you can have a boatneck or v-neck look in the front. If two ways to wear it isn’t enough, you can wear the v-neck front off the shoulder too. Boom, three looks in one shirt. ($118)

Train to Be Short Sleeve in White/Luna: Another loose-fitting silhouette makes the list; obviously I’m in a flowy mood. This short sleeve is the perfect length for your high-rise tights, has engineered mesh in high-sweat areas and can be worn for any type of workout. ($74)

Yin Vibes Turtleneck in Black: I’ve never been much of a turtleneck girl, but I’ve been getting into taller collars the last few months. I like the ribbing detail on this one, and the body-skimming silhouette is perfect for tucking into wide-leg pants or layering under a vest. ($88)

Men’s

Parkway Blazer in Black: The last blazer I saw in-store sold out in a week. I can see this version having the same popularity. Easy to dress up or down and with wind/water-resistance, it’s designed with biking-to-work in mind. There’s a zippered interior pocket to keep your valuables from taking a tumble and discreet reflectivity for visibility during those early morning commutes. ($248) — [ UPDATE: This blazer is sold out, but has been replaced with the Parkway Light Blazer and the Street Lite Blazer, both at $198. ] [ UPDATE #2: The Parkway Light Blazer is now on MD for $99!! ]

ABC Jogger *Shorter 28″ in Carbon Dust: Everything you love about the ABC Jogger, but in a shorter inseam. If you’ve never worn the ABC Jogger, it’s everything you love about the ABC Pants, but in a jogger. If you’ve never worn the ABC Pants, where have you been, what have you been doing, click the link and order some immediately. ($128)

Metal Vent Tech Long Sleeve *Chalk Wash in White/White/Light Cast: Hello, marbled MVT, you’re pretty. I’ve been loving all the “washes” lululemon has been doing this season and this “chalk wash” is no exception. This coloring is also available in the MVT Polo, Muscle Tank and Pullover Hoodie. ($98)

Drysense Mesh SS in Heathered Honeycomb: The longer length on this short sleeve is very on-trend. Plus, the mesh fabric is anti-stink, stretchy, sweat-wicking, fast-drying and doesn’t cling to sweaty skin. Also available in a long sleeve version. ($68)

City Sweat Jogger *Jacquard *29 in Black/Obsidian: Street-worthy style the lululemon way. These tapered joggers are breathable and stretchy; perfect for warm-ups, cool-downs and chillin’ on the weekends. ($118)
