Here are my top 5 must-haves from this week’s new markdowns:
Women’s
Pack It Down Vest in Vintage Gold: Yellow isn’t personally my color, but it’s been mighty popular this year. This color looks epically great on some people and even epically worse on others (me). If you’re lucky and can pull off yellow, definitely consider this: It’s a puffy vest. On sale. Before it’s even gotten cold out. Plus it’s weather-resistant, insulated with 700-fill-power goose down and has a stuff-sack for easy packing. $148 -> $99
Tight Stuff Tight II *25″ *Online Only in Titanium: The name of these tights ain’t lying – these suckers are TIGHT. These are the most compressive tights lululemon makes and they’re designed for long-distance running … although I know lots of ladies who just like the compression because they want to feel all “sucked in.” Personally, these are too tight for me which is why I live in “naked sensation” tights (Aligns & Fast and Frees mainly, but anything made with Nulux or Nulu will do). But if you do long runs and need the compression for recovery purposes or you just want to feel as sucked in as possible, these are for you. $148 -> $89
Spring Break Away Short *3″ in Dark Olive: Of the two main casual shorts lululemon makes (the other being the On The Fly Short), these are my favorite. I have some OTF Shorts and they’re great, no offense to them … but I just love these more. This style tends to come in better colors/patterns and the look is a little less sporty because of the fabric and rolled cuff. $58 -> $39
All Tied Up Tank in Fawn: I feel like I write about All Tied Up Tanks a lot but that’s because I love them. I love when new colors come out and I love when older colors go on markdown. No exception here – there are three colors of this stretchy Pima Cotton fabric on markdown right now and I’m not mad about it. (Note: This is a different material than the regular All Tied Up Tanks, just a heads up; it’s stretchier and feels more like a workout fabric than a traditional cotton. $44 -> $29
The Everyday Skirt in True Navy: My best friend has this and I’m definitely not biased when I say she looks amazing in it. She wore it on a beach trip we went on this summer and I was jealous the whole time. It looks cute with a tighter top tucked into the large, high-rise waistband or with a cropped tank. $78 -> $59
Men’s
Surge Warm 1/2 Zip Hoodie in Black: Why this is going on markdown right now is lost on me. The Surge Warm line is one that usually hangs around through December, so it’s surprising to see the black 1/2 zip marked down in September. This is a definite steal and a hell yeah if you’re in need of some basic pullovers for either casual wear or outdoor workouts – the fabric is great for both. $108 -> $79
Switch Up Short 6″ in Cayenne/Dark Sport Red: These run shorts have plenty of pockets for all your on-the-go essentials. They’re quick drying and have added reflectivity for visibility in low light. The black and blue colors of this short are on markdown too. $78 -> $59
Pinnacle Warmth Jacket in Carbon Dust: If you’re in need of a warm winter jacket, look no further. This one has it all: 600-fill-power goose down insulation for warmth (as the name implies) and sealed seams for true water- and wind-proofing. The price point is still hefty, but $100 off a wind-proof/water-proof/goose down jacket right before peak season is a hell of a deal. $348 -> $249
Take The Moment Jogger 27″ *Robert Geller x lululemon in Tidal Dye Melanite Deep Coal: Fashion meets function in this jogger from lululemon’s collaboration with designer Robert Geller. These dyeing technique produces one-of-a-kind designs on each pair, while DWR-treated fabric is water resistant. $148 -> $99
Commission Short Chino 9″ Slim in True Navy: These classic everyday shorts are the second big markdown surprise for me in men’s today. They’re perfect for casual weekend wear or take ’em to the golf course for a couple rounds. You can dress ’em up or down for anywhere your weekend takes you. $88 -> $59
