Every week, lululemon adds new items to their “We Made Too Much” section of their website – this is just a fancy way of saying “Sale”.
Here are my top 5 must-haves from this week’s new markdowns:
Hazy Day Sweater in Black/Alpine White: I tried on this cropped sweater when it first came out and liked it – not $128 liked it, so I didn’t get it – but I’m reconsidering now that it’s on markdown. There’s a touch of cashmere to make it extra soft, yet it’s still machine washable (still lay flat to dry). And the special dyeing technique used means that no two sweaters will look exactly alike.
$128 -> $89
Align Short *6″ in Dark Adobe: I’m warning you now, these will go fast. This style has been consistently sold out in sizes 2-6 every couple weeks in black and other dark colors. Now that there’s a color on markdown (and a good fall color, at that), I think we’ll see a lot of people pulling the trigger just because it’s on sale.
$58 -> $39
Brunswick Muscle Tank in Light Ivory/Tempest Blue: This is another one I debated about when it first came out; do I like the two tone or not? It’s a question I still haven’t answered for myself and my IG poll came back exactly 50-50 so I’m at a loss …. What do you think? Comment below and let me know.
$48 -> $29
To The Beat Tight 24″ *Online Only in Intergalactic: I’ve been crushing hard on this color since it came out, but haven’t gotten anything in it yet. Now might have to be the time. These 7/8 leggings are perfect for sweaty indoor studio workouts (spin, weightlifting, etc) and are designed to feel cool on your skin and dry quickly.
$98 -> $69
Breeze By Short Sleeve *Squad in Aqua Smoke/Aqua Smoke: The loose-fitting cousin to the Swiftly Tech Short Sleeve, this style has my heart. It fits more like your favorite t-shirt but has all the technical features you need – sweat-wicking, anti-stink, moisture-wicking. Plus, mesh construction = max ventilation to keep you from overheating.
$68 -> $49
Always In Motion Boxer: I call this the “gateway drug” for men first getting into lululemon. Usually a woman in their life is obsessed with the brand and is trying to get their guy obsessed too (let’s be honest, sometimes you need to justify that credit card bill, ladies, and if he likes lululemon too then it’ll be wayyyy easier – I get it, I’ve heard it all). There are two boxer types – the Always in Motion, for every day wear, and the License to Train, for workouts. Both styles come in short and long lengths. If you or someone you know is new to the brand and wants to try it out at a low price point, this is perfect.
$28 -> $19

- Always in Motion Boxer *The Long One *7″ pictured in Spirited Silverstone True Navy
(There are a few more colors on sale in both of these lengths.)
Metal Vent Tech Surge Long Sleeve in Black/White: A slightly softer and lighter versions of the MVT, this style is always a hit. It has seamless construction through the body to minimize chafing and open-hole mesh fabric keeps air-flowing for maximum breathability. Anti-stick technology means if you forget about your sweaty shirt in your gym bag for a week, you won’t be holding your nose when you find it.
$88 -> $59
Sojourn Jacket in Dark Olive: The Sojourn is such a great versatile jacket style. It’s made with the same material as your favorite ABC Pants, so you know you’ll feel great wearing it. And there are plenty of zippered pockets to keep your valuables secure.
$128 -> $89
Breaking Bounds Sleeveless Hoodie in Black: This is such a cool silhouette to me. I love the idea of throwing on a sleeveless hoodie instead of a vest. And although it looks pretty basic, this hoodie is surprisingly loaded with technical features. It’s moisture-wicking, anti-stink and breathable, has a locker loop for easy hanging at the gym, has abrasion-resistant panels on the front and has two tie options so you can customize your fit. If you could ever call a hoodie impressive, this would be the time.
$98 -> $69
Surge Warm Full Zip in Heathered Dark Terracotta/Black: This is the second full-zip in this line to go on markdown this year. And again I’m surprised. The Surge Warm line is all made of super soft Rulu fabric that wicks sweat and keeps you warm at the same time. It’s one of my favorite lululemon fabrics and we really only see it the last three, three and half months of each year.
$118 -> $79
