lululemon Tuesday Top 5

lululemon Tuesday Top 5 (9/24/19)

My favorites from this week's product drop

Here are my favorites from this week’s new product drop:

Tuesdays are the best day of the week in lemon world. All the ‘latest and greatest’ products drop in the lululemon “upload” – meaning all the new product for the week is added to the website.

And all the #lululemonaddicts out there are glued to their computers adding item after item to their shopping carts.

Each week, I sift through the upload and bring you my top picks in both women’s and men’s – as well as tips on sizing, education tidbits on fabrics + features and, hopefully, a laugh or two along the way.

So, here are my favorites from this week’s new product drop:

Women’s

Gleam and Glow Tank in Silver Lilac: The striping you see on this tank is mesh ventilation, meaning you’ll stay cool no matter how heated your workout gets. The high neckline is designed to provide extra coverage in yoga class, this seamless tank would work for any sweaty studio class. Heads up: there’s also a really pretty Gleam and Glow Bodysuit that’s only sold online. ($58)

Align Pant II 25″ in Polar Shift Emboss Black: One of my classic fav styles is the Align. I get to wear flattering leggings but feel like I’m not wearing any pants at all? S.O.L.D. We’ve seen a similar leather-looking pattern before but this one has a little extra sheen to it that I really like. ($98)

Sincerely Sherpa Wrap in Heathered Black: I have an affinity for sweaters/pullovers/wraps that feel (and sometimes look) like I’m wearing a blanket. This wool-blend wrap falls perfectly into that category. It has a high neck to keep out the wind and internal pockets to stash essentials (or holiday candy, your choice). ($168)

Cates Crop Tee *Fade in Washed Black: My favorite cropped tee hits again. And in the new “fade” coloring that’s been so popular this year. Get ready to see me wearing this … idk … every other day sound ok? ($54)

Train To Be Tank *Wash in White/Luna: Does this look familiar? Well, that’s because I included the Train To Be Tee in last week’s Tuesday Top 5. I actually tried on the SS version today and it’s cute, but now there’s a tank and I think I like it even better! The material is seamless and super lightweight – seriously, it almost feels like you’re wearing nothing. ($64)

Men’s

Fundamental Fuel Pullover and Fundamental Fuel Pant in Night Diver, Black: This updated version of a sweat suit is designed to take you through your wam-up, workout and cooldown on chilly days. The pullover is anti-stink, sweat-wicking and quick-drying with a soft, cottony feel while the pants are abrasion-resistant, sweat-wicking and four-way stretch. ($128, $118)

Surge Tight *28″ in Diamond Dye Light Cast Black: These Luxtreme tights can be worn on their own or layered under your favorite linerless shorts. There’s built-in reflectivity for early morning runs and a side pocket to store your phone while you’re on the go. ($98)

Fast and Free Tank in Heathered Dark Terracotta/Heathered Obsidian: My store had this tank a couple months ago and it FLEW off the racks. Guys loved the lightweight and anti-stink mesh fabric, reflectivity and the fit was spot-on. ($58)

Fast and Free Short *3″ in Black: Ok, I really debated putting this one in my top 5 because I’ve heard mixed reviews. They’re short, we all know that by looking at them and it’s a perfect length for runners, so that aside … I spoke to one guy today who (a) looked great in them and (b) pointed out that they don’t have a phone pocket which makes them completely unfunctional for him as a runner. I also wish they had the tee shirt tucking loops that the Surge Shorts have. But we’re just two people and those complaints aside, I’ve heard lots of guys asking for this length short in-store. Guys, what are your thoughts? Love or leave ’em? ($78)

Tundra Trek Vest and Tundra Trek Full Zip in Heathered Silver Spoon/Silver Spoon: Sherpa Fleece fabric make both this vest and jacket uber soft and cozy. They each have stretch panels for non-constricted movement and zippered exterior pockets for your phone and keys. ($128, $198)
