7 Lust-Worthy Items from Target’s 20th Anniversary “Design For All” Collection

I remember being at Target (completely on accident) the day the Hunter collection dropped in-stores and being blown away by how quickly the line had sold out. There were a couple left-over pairs of boots and a few other random pieces still available but, for the most part, the 30+ shoppers milling about the Hunter display were met by empty shelves.

I’m guessing that scene will be nothing compared to September 14: the day the 20th Anniversary of the Design For All collection drops in stores and online. The collection showcases 20 of the 175+ iconic designer collaborations we’ve seen since “Design For All” debuted in 1999 with a collection from Michael Graves. (See all 20 of the returning designers here.)

Target is also releasing a book and a documentary film to commemorate the occasion.

This archive collection of nearly 300 items will be released in all stores, although the assortment/designers available at each store will vary. We’ll see items in the apparel, accessories, home decor and kitchen essentials categories. Quantities are limited and (like that original Hunter collection I mentioned above) items are expected to sell out F-A-S-T.

Scroll down for the 7 anniversary collection pieces I’m most excited to see making a comeback. Or, shop the full collection here.

Shop lululemon.

Not gonna lie, some weeks it’s super easy to narrow down my picks to just five things; today that was really hard.

Buuuuut I did it … so here are my favorites from this week’s new product drop:

Women’s

Ready to Rise Short Sleeve in Light Ivory: I’m all about crop tops right now and this one is so different from anything else I’ve seen. Usually lululemon makes either very loose, boxy crop tops (my fav!) or very, very tight ones that are a little too short for me. This one looks like it could be in the middle of those two fits depending on which size you got (I’d probably choose to size up in this style based on the pictures). I also really love the little cap sleeve and the v-cut back which makes it perfect to show off those cute strappy sports bras. The material is also interesting to me – Ribbed Luxtreme – haven’t seen that before in a top. ($48)

Time To Restore Short Sleeve in Nocturnal Teal: This is a throwback color here, y’all! It’s dark enough to be uber neutral but has just enough color to break up an all-black outfit. The cool thing about this lightweight cotton top is that you can wear it tied in the back or front, which totally changes how tight it fits. ($58)

Hi, my name is Rebecca and I’m obsessed with camo.

There, I said it (again). The first step to fixing a problem is admitting you have one, right?

My lululemon Tuesday Top Five posts are littered with pictures of new camo prints and styles. My closet is slowly being taken over by various camo print Aligns and Fast & Frees. I have camo print underwear, sweatshirts and sports bras.

And now I have a camo print Atlanta United jersey! Or at least I will on September 3 when it gets delivered.

I don’t know exactly when it was released, but I spotted this warm-up jersey a couple games ago and haven’t stopped thinking about it. When I went to order it last week, it was SOLD OUT *whomp whomp* … But while looking online for something else ATL UTD-related yesterday, I happened to stumble upon a site that had restocked them (or at least had them on backorder rather than being sold out).

Aside from my obvious general excitement over being able to add to my camo collection, this will be a fun jersey to wear to any games focused on honoring the military/vets. I’m not typically a fan of the special edition jerseys, but I’m excited about this one! (It’s an unpopular opinion, but the orange and white King Peach jersey is just not my jam.)

Since I didn’t have the opportunity to try it on, I ordered the same size I just got in the new men’s 2019 Stars and Stripes Jersey – a medium. Fingers crossed it fits! The first jersey I got was a ladies fit and I wore it the first two seasons; this season though I wanted something with a little more length and breathability, so I got a men’s jersey.

Shop lululemon.

For all my fellow camo-philes out there, lululemon has released a new addition to their camo arsenal: Formation Camo Deep Coal Multi. This pattern actually looks more like an animal print than a traditional camouflage, but I’m still here for it. And it seems they’re taking a page from the old school lululemon book and releasing this pattern in pretty much every core style. Which ones will you be adding to your shopping cart?
