lululemon Product Guides Summer 2020

lululemon Expands Size Offering for Increased Inclusion

The most exciting thing about yesterday’s new product drop, aka Tuesday upload, was the debut of three new sizes in the women’s line: 16, 18 + 20!

Six styles are now available in sizes 0-20: the Long Distance Short Sleeve, Define Jacket, Align 25″, Fast & Free 25″, Wunder Train 25″ and the Ready to Rulu Jogger.

Also announced yesterday, these 6 styles are just the beginning. According to a post on lululemon’s IG post, we’ll see continued expansion into sizing inclusivity in upcoming seasons, including bra sizes up to 40G.

Let’s dive in + take a closer look at the 6 styles available now …

Long Distance Short Sleeve

Colors available in sizes 0-20: Heathered Pink Pastel (featured), Heathered Black.

Colors available in sizes 0-14: Heritage Camo Jacquard Black Lunar Rock

This relaxed-fit tee is designed to hit just slightly below the hips. It’s made with a lightweight, waffle-texture fabric that’s moisture-wicking, breathable and anti-stink. Specifically designed for super sweaty high-impact workouts, this technical tee will work for any type of workout or even everyday wear.

Define Jacket

Colors available in sizes 0-20: Dark Olive (featured), Lunar Rock, White, True Navy, Dark Red, Black

Colors available in sizes 0-14: Heritage 365 Camo Dark Olive Multi, Vista Green, Heathered Black, Wee Are From Space Nimbus Battleship, Incognito Camo Multi Grey + a few special edition styles that were released prior to the sizing update

The Define is one of my favorites, so I’m really happy to see this as one of the first pieces available in more inclusive sizes. I have – hold up, let me count in my head – five Define Jackets in the Luon fabric. It’s my go-to everyday layer over tanks for work, workout + casual. It’s a tight fit, so I rarely wear it zipped up; more often than not, you’ll see me rockin’ it unzipped like the model to the right.

Two of my fav features that you def don’t want to miss: (1) the “cuffins” (cuffs + mittens) to keep your fingers protected from the cold and (2) the emergency hair tie on the zipper pull – a true game changer.

lululemon Align™ Pant II 25″

Colors available in sizes 0-20: Dark Red (featured), Dark Olive, Cassis, Grey Sage, True Navy, Black

Colors available in sizes 0-14: 12 colors + a few special edition styles that were released prior to the sizing update

Ahh, another one of my favs! I wear Align pants legit every damn day. I’m lucky that, not only can I “get away with” wearing leggings to work, it’s basically expected. I honestly can’t even begin to count off the top of my head how many pairs of Align Pants I have at this point. Let’s just say I have at least 10 pairs.

These leggings are made with buttery-soft Nulu fabric that’s designed to feel next-to-nothing against the skin. Aligns are intended for low impact workouts and casual wear; I’ve heard of women running in them and liking them, but I wouldn’t suggest it – this particular fabric just won’t hold up for long with that level of activity.

Fast and Free Tight II 25″

Colors available in sizes 0-20: True Navy (featured), Black

Colors available in sizes 0-14: 8 colors + a few special edition styles that were released prior to the sizing update

Similar to the Align, these leggings are designed to feel almost like you aren’t wearing anything. Although you’ll feel slight compression in the waistband, the leg will feel weightless, cool-to-the-touch, distraction-free and non-compressive. F&Fs have a continuous drawcord in the waistband for a customized fit and two drop-in side pockets for easy storage.

Wunder Train High-Rise Tight 25″

Colors available in sizes 0-20: Cerulean Blue (featured), True Navy, Dark Olive, Brier Rose, Black

Colors available in sizes 0-14: 7 colors + a few special edition styles that were released prior to the sizing update

Wunder Trains are made with Everlux, lululemon’s fastest drying fabric. They’re designed for super-sweaty indoor workouts, such as spin, HIIT classes, hot yoga + anything else that makes you drip sweat. Think of Aligns as your yoga pants, F&F as your long distance running pants and Wunder Trains are your everything-in-between pants.

Like the F&Fs, WTs have a continuous drawcord in the waistband, however, like the Aligns, the leg is super simple with no seaming + side pockets.

Ready to Rulu Jogger 29″

Colors available in sizes 0-20: Cassis (featured), Lunar Rock, Black

Colors available in sizes 0-14: Dark Olive, Heathered Dark Cast/Black

Ready to Rulu Joggers are made with a very soft and warm fabric called … you guessed it! … Rulu. We see the most styles in this fabric during colder months, but these joggers usually stick around year-around. Back when I was coaching CrossFit a ton, I’d layer these over my leggings for extra warmth during really cold mornings in the gym. These days, I wear my Ready to Rulus when walking the dogs in the morning and on our weekly weekday breakfast date at Waffle House.
