lululemon Tuesday Top 5

lululemon Tuesday Top 5 (11/5/19)

My favorites from this week's product drop

Tuesdays are the best day of the week in lemon world. All the ‘latest and greatest’ products drop in the lululemon “upload” – meaning all the new product for the week is added to the website.

And all the #lululemonaddicts out there are glued to their computers adding item after item to their shopping carts.

Each week, I sift through the upload and bring you my top picks in both women’s and men’s – as well as tips on sizing, education tidbits on fabrics + features and, hopefully, a laugh or two along the way.

So, here are my favorites from this week’s new product drop:

Women’s

Free To Be Bra *Online Only in Incognito Camo Multi Grey: This is already in my shopping cart. My all-time favorite bra … in my all-time favorite print! The Free To Be Bra isn’t in stores anymore *WAAHHHH* but I’m so glad it lives online so I can still get my fix now and then. I like the simplicity of this bra in comparison to any of the other iterations that have popped up over the years; although the Free To Be *Wild is still going strong in stores despite my affinity for the original. ($48)

Fast and Free High-Rise Tight 28″ *Brushed in Black: Although these are a little long for me (I prefer the 25″ length), I’m highly intrigued by the idea of “brushed” F&Fs. I love my, like 8 pairs, but Nulux is too thin to wear when the temps drop below 40. During Nov/Dec, we always see some special edition “brushed” versions of a couple core tights (Speed Up, Wunder Under, etc) and I’m psyched F&Fs made that list this year. The hype around them is just that they’re warmer than their normal counterparts and the inside feels a little softer to the touch. ($128)

Here for Serenity Wrap in Black/White/Silver Drop: We all know I’m a sucker for a good wrap. I was really hoping I wouldn’t like this one, but I tried it on today and let’s just say I need someone to talk me off the ledge. It’s made with a Cashmere blend, so you know it’s soft, but it’s also machine washable. This versatile wrap can level-up your traditional post-class ‘tank and leggings’ look or can be worn on a Friday night for dinner and drinks. ($128)

On the Go Sweat Kit *Black Pepper Sandalwood: I’ve only personally tried 2 of the 4 items in this kit, but I’ve heard great things about the lip balm. I don’t know much about the Speed Up Cool Down Body Lotion yet, (other than my best friend is dying to know if it works or not) so I’ll probably be ordering it soon to test it out. There’s an Aloe Lotus scented version of this kit too, but after testing both scents in the deodorant, I prefer the Black Pepper Sandalwood. [ Promise not to make fun of me if I tell you secret? The real reason I want this kit is for that damn clear on-the-go bag. ] ($58)

Cross Paths Rucksack *14L in True Navy: I’m obsessed with the color of this bag. I’ve seen navy lululemon bags before, but there’s something about this one that’s really setting it apart for me. It’s got allll the pockets (laptop sleeve, quick access phone pocket, water bottle pocket) and the material is easy to wipe down for quick cleaning on the go. ($128)

Men’s

At Ease Hoodie and At Ease Jogger in Heathered Frontier/Black: I haven’t seen this color in person yet, but the other two colors were lit-ter-ah-lee flying out the door last weekend at my store. I think we sold like 20 full sets in just three days. Guys already loved this pullover on it’s own, but now that there’s a matching jogger – game. is. over. ($148, $128)

Siffra Filled Half Zip *lululemon lab in Black: This water-repellent half-zip packs into it’s own pocket for easy stow-ability if you get too toasty. Don’t worry, the 600-fill-power down keeps it’s shape so you won’t look deflated. There are side zippers for ventilation and my favorite kind of pocket: kangaroo! ($348)

ABC Pant Slim *Warpstreme *34″ in Tofino Sand: Ok, so this one isn’t exactly new, but this style/color combo has been sold out for a couple months and I’ve heard so many complaints … but now it’s back in stock and it’s time to rejoice. And to order them immediately before you miss out again. [ lululemon trivia time: What does the ABC in ABC Pant stand for? Comment below.) ($128)

5 Year Basic Long Sleeve Henley in Palm Deco: This long sleeve henley version of lululemon’s classic 5 Year Basic Tee is spot on; it’s a best seller every year, and for good reason. It’s soft, stretchy and flattering (and, according to a former Braves player I’ll leave unnamed, perfect for showing off just the right amount of taco meat). ($78)

ABC Pant Classic *Warpstreme *34″ in Stoney: Again, this isn’t really a newness alert as much as it is a restock alert. Stoney was super popular the first time it was released and sold out quickly; now it’s back just in time for holiday shopping (or spoil yourself shopping if you subscribe to the “one for you, two for me” strategy). ($128)
