So you know how I started that Power Zone training program? Well I’ve been avoiding it because the next ride was a 45 minute ride and it’s tough to convince myself to take a 45 minute class. I usually opt for 20-30 minute classes and do some “just ride” extra credit miles afterwards. I took a break from being a big baby about it today and I’m glad I did.
This 45-minute low impact ride I was so scared to take turned out to be a zone 1-2 recovery ride. It was great. It focused on drills to teach me how to engage certain muscles and taught me some great warm-up moves for more intense rides.
